This trip takes us to the South-East part of Crete. Our first stop is in Ziros, a picturesque small village where we will stay for approx. 45 min. enough time to walk around and enjoy your coffee. Back to the bus for our second stop the Gorge of the Dead, famous for its great history from the Minoan age.
It will take us about one hour and a half to walk through it. You will enjoy the Cretan nature and have many opportunities for unique pictures!
We will walk after the Gorge’s exit to Kato Zakros a magnificent beach-side quiet village where you can enjoy the sun and the beach and afterwards the famous Cretan cuisine in this graphical village (the lunch is included in price). The bus will be waiting for us there to transfer us back to your accommodation, after a full day!
Do not forget sport shoes, swimsuit, sunglasses, sunscreen and camera.
Itinerary
First stop in Ziros village to stretch our legs and enjoy greek coffee!
We arrive at the entrance of Kato Zakro’s gorge, the gorge of the dead! Approximately 1,5h hiking.
Enjoy the crystal clear sea and hot sun in Kato Zakros where we will stay until lunch!
