Achlia is a settlement approximately 7 km west of Makri Gialos.
Achlia beach, a beautiful horseshoe shaped bay, is offering safe swimming in turquoise waters.
This is accessed via a steep road leading down from the Ierapetra main road.
It has all the beachside facilities including a taverna.
