Koutsounari is a nice village 8 kms east of Ierapetra in a distance of 700 m from the beach.
Between April and November the climate is mild with almost no humidity.The healthy climate is enhanced by the neighboring mountains,the abundance of vegetation and a permanent cooling breeze.
